The mère-fille (mother-daughter) series explores the complexities of mother-child relationships through photography. The series, created collaboratively by the artist and her mother, uses the embrace as a symbol of both connection and tension. It portrays care as reciprocal emotional labor, expressed through gesture. Here, the act of creation itself becomes a form of care, with the process holding as much significance as the final images.
