/

This work makes an analogy between the transformation of caterpillar to butterfly and the gender affirming process that trans people go through in their life and feelings of becoming. It also refers to a childhood story: Duquette rescued a caterpillar from a vegetable garden, where it would have been killed, and fought to take care of it until, finally, it transformed and flew free.
