Red Is the Republican Colour is part of a series titled Not My House, which draws on

conversations with an American cousin of Ross’ during the early pandemic days of 2020, and the U.S. election that same year. The work is a reflection on the limits of persuasion: on the ways in which, no matter how certain we are of our information or perspective, attempts to shift another person’s political beliefs often remain unresolved.
