At the intersection of sculpture, photography, and science, this work explores how the distortion of an image or line of an equation can reference visual codes of sculpture, like the curve. The two prints are the same photograph, an image of an out-of-focus dandelion, with one altered by longitudinal distortion. The laser engraving is made with a photo showing particle trajectories, taken in a Bubble Chamber at CERN (Switzerland), a research laboratory for fundamental particle physics.
