L’eau se caractérise par son incessant mouvement circulaire. Tina Marais voit un corps fluide qui conserve des fragments des récits qu’il a parcourus et qui englobe l’ensemble des éléments nous composant ainsi que leurs interactions variées. Maître de la métamorphose, l’élément aqueux peut adopter une forme solide, liquide ou gazeuse, voire varier en densité.

NOTE – Cette œuvre a été exposée dans le cadre de la Biennale internationale du lin de Portneuf, en 2021.

As water’s characteristic is to be in a constant state of circular movement , Tina Marais is thinking of water as a fluid body, encompassing everything that we are and interact with, holding traces of stories of everything it has flowed through. Water is also a shape shifter, solid, liquid and gas, it shifts its density.

This work was exhibited during the Biennial du Lin de Portneuf in 2021. I have submitted the piece for a biennially in Belgium, I am still waiting for the response, so it may not be available during November 2022
